About Tom Buyens:

The founder and managing director Tom Buyens previously for 10 years as a marketing executive, technical trainer, technically expert at leading manufacturers of Safety and Security products in Antwerp (BE), Breda (NL) and Paris (FR).

Tom has several articles published in national and international security magazines on technical research on the materials to be used, and recommendations in the safety in the workplace.

In addition, Tom was active in national and international lobbying organizations to improve security within companies and to promote, as NVFN, European Safety Federation, Febelsafe, Synamap, DIN, BSIF, Technical Committees Gloves.

Until April 2012, Tom was the Marketing Manager for the region Europe - Middle East - Africa at the innovative manufacturer of work gloves Showa Best Glove in Paris La Defense. There, Tom organized communications and marketing concerning the merge of the Japanese manufacturer Showa gloves and the American manufacturer of gloves Best. Since Tom was also responsible for all communication to the importers, resellers, end users and the press. The European Campaign and Cut Grip Challenge Campaign were two European campaigns that drew attention to important issues.

The passion to protect hundreds of thousands of workers in a comfortable manner hands is still the motive of Tom.
