Polycarbonate Face Shield with Protective Foam and Adjustable Headband. Can be used with or without glasses and mask.

This equipment is designed to provide a barrier protection to the facial area and related mucous membranes (eyes, nose and lips) for protection of the facial area and associated mucous membranes (eyes, nose, mouth) from splashes, sprays, and spatter of body fluid.

Although the WHO (World Health Organization) on their "situation report - 66" of 26-03-2020" affirm, to date no proof of air transmission through airborne particles containing the virus Covid-19, we recommend, essentially in closed spaces, the additional usage of other protective devices, such as FFP2 or FFP3 facemasks, since aerosols may flow through the face shield.

 Note: Before the first use, please remove the interior and exterior protective film.

PLACEMENT AND ADJUSTMENT

✓ Wash your hands with soap and water drying them afterwards

✓ Place the Face Shield over your face and eyes without touching the inside, as well as ensuring that the foam sits comfortably on your forehead, slightly above your eyes

✓ Adjust the elastic drawstring if necessary

REMOVAL AND DISINFECTION

✓ Wash your hands with soap and water, drying them afterwards

✓ Remove the Face Shield, manipulating MERELY the elastic drawstring, as this is considered relatively "clean". The front, the inside and the sides of the device must NEVER be touched with your hands nor face, as these are the areas with more probability of being contaminated by sprays, splashes, sprinkles or drops.

✓ Place the Face Shield in a recipient and wash with water and a neutral soap, disinfecting afterwards with 70% alcohol. Leave to air to dry

✓ Wash your hands with soap and water, drying them afterwards

IMPORTANT NOTICE: Ideally gloves should be used when removing, cleaning and disinfecting the device. In case you don't use gloves and your hands have been contaminated during removal of the Face Shield, immediately wash your hands or use an alcohol-based disinfectant for your hands.
